Integrating Open Technologies in the Virtual Mobility Learning Hub

This paper presents the development of the Open Virtual Mobility Learning Hub, as an integration of several interactive technologies in an open source learning environment based on Moodle. The Open Virtual Mobility Learning Hub is a collaborative online and mobile environment for promoting and assessing VM Skills of educators and students in the European Higher Education Area. The OpenVM Learning Hub includes several interactive tools in components, services and technologies. This paper analyses different open-source software and tools, essential for the OpenVM Learning hub, as its development is based on open education principles.
Diana and Radu held meetings with teachers, deans and rectors of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Center for Exact Sciences and Technology, (UNIRIO) Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, (Puc-RIO), Federal University of Alagoas, Institute of Computing, Maceio, (UFAL), where they presented, among others, the Open Virtual Mobility project. In the Center for Exact Sciences and Technology, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO ) they held a workshop about developing virtual mobilities and digital competencies.
